Just for those of you who have some how failed to notice... the economy sucks. So does my job, but that's another story. I thought people who spend long and extra hours at work and are told they do an outstanding job are supposed to get raises, not pay cuts. Oh well. I'm annoyed, but at the same time I'm trying to look at it from a different view. I am lucky I have a job at this point in time. It is unfortunate the way the country is headed, and I'm sorry and can sympathize to and with all of those who are feeling the pains of it. I think my search for a job in the Caribbean is on hold again, it's hard to really justify looking for a job right now when there are no guarantees of whether you will have your job tomorrow or not, no matter where you are.

I'm happy in other aspects of my life. My lucky-unlucky penny finally turned out to be lucky in the form of a significant other. I am continually amazed by everything he knows, and his ability to help and teach me. It is strange and I'm not used to how well he treats me, but I feel like a Princess. Perhaps I am still in the stages of "lust" but the thought of him makes me smile inside and out.

Blind to Pageviews? I'm not. Pageviews don't mean much to me. I like to be able to see them because I want to be able to give more recognition and support to the people who are new rather than the people who have been here for years and everybody knows them. I can understand the purpose of being blind to them, but I think it is completely stupid that those blind to pageviews get a little symbol to recognize that. It's kind of like an eye for an eye. Now people might just go blind to pageviews for that little "cookie". It reminds me of the beta tester symbol. I bet more than half of the subscribers on deviantArt are beta testers, but I don't see very many of them posting in the beta testing forum or reporting issues they have with things. I think both are great options, but why should anyone get anything special to recognize it? Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong...
